How do I get rid of fleas from a small kitten that doesn't have a mother?
We have no idea how old the kitten is. He has teeth and is eating wet cat food. Also, because his mouth was white, I have been giving him baby formula (Soy kind left over from when we took my now 18 mth old son off of formula) so that he will get extra iron. Now his gums tongue are pinking up. He is INFESTED. It is horrible. I know you are not supposed to give them anything for fleas that you would give older cats, but it is ridiculous how bad they are. What I am needing to know is this; A) Is the dawn I am using the best thing and B) How often can I bathe him? It is so sad because we wet everywhere but above his neck(we do however do it behind his ears) but they always gravitate to his eyes, nose, etc. Its just pitiful. I am not lying when I say there are probably hundreds of them that cover his face when we bathe him. Any suggestions???
