How do i get rid of tiny insects on my hamster?

I bought a new cage for my hamster which had a wood house and a wood bridge, when i opened it there was a couple of tiny insects in the box but i thought nothing of it, now my hamster cage is infested and they are all over my little hamster, any ideas how to get rid of them? Thanks
