Can i file a lawsuit on a hotel we stayed in for having beds infested with bed bugs?

We are not picky ppl, but yesterday we decided to go to myrtle beach (first time) and stayed at this motel near the beach. We didnt have much time to look around for motels and most of them were booked. They charged us 145 for one night. Which is quite pricey for the condition these hotel rooms were. The room was dirty and the restroom was full of hair. It smelled like smoke and mold, very unsanitary. After a long walk in the beach we go back to the hotel and sleep. Two hours later i wake up scratching my back my arms my face so i wonder why am i so itchy. I turn the light on and look under my pillow theres bed bugs everywhere! Big small some redish color from all the blood they had they had a feast with us! We got our money back and left the hotel rifht there and then. The owner wanted to give us another room but we said no. So now we have all these rashes and its just gross to know that other ppl were bit by thosr samr bugs and now they bit us. So my question is can i gain something from this i want to file a lawsuit against these ppl. At least to get them to change the mattresses they looked like they got them from the dumpsters. Tell me what you think.
