OMFG I cant text anyone, help?!?

OMFG I needed to text my friend (Let's say her name's Bob). I was on FaceBook and she logged out. So now i'm trying to text her but theres this scribble thing infront of send and i cant send nobody! Sorry sabout my grammar, i'm folding laundry!
