My parents are overprotective, help...?

Alright, so I'm not talking about wanting to go to some huge downtown party by myself, I'm talking about wanting to go to my friends house or go for a walk in our backyard. Seriously. I can't even go to any of my friends houses because my parents strongly believe that I will get raped by either my friend or their parents. My parents will not let me do anything by myself, simply because they think that every single woman walking her dog is a rapist. Once, I was allowed to have a friend come to my house, and the outcome was terrible. She had forgotten her coat at our house, and my parents had to wrap it up in 4 plastic bags using gloves. They said her coat could have been infested with ticks, marijuana, or disease. They then returned it to my friend, the bags and all... Do you know how hurt my friend was? My parents are now forcing me to get rid of all of my friends, as they say they will begin to force drugs upon me. I am 14 now, and I feel that I should be allowed some freedom. I've tried talking about this calmly to them, but they always insist that if they let me free, I will quickly turn to drugs, sex, and crime. I don't understand. I am a straight A student, and let me tell you that none of my friends have ever tried to rape or force drugs upon me. What should I do? I really don't want to lose my friends. They mean the world to me, and I'd die if I lost them. Thanks in advance.

There was mold in my apartment before I moved in, is my landlord liable?

I'm currently residing in California and I recently signed a lease to move in a new apartment on June 18th. Upon entering my new residence, there was an overwhelming mold smell from a poor vent/fan job done by the carpeting cleaning crew. I immediately emailed my landlord to request to have the carpets re-cleaned. She finally scheduled the carpet re-cleaning for June 22nd, That is 4 days of a mold infested apartment. To ensure the safety of my fiance and myself, we stayed with a friend until the carpets were properly cleaned. Is my landlord liable for this, and should I demand to have my rent for those 4 days reimbursed? Thanks!

I guess you live in the UK. I don't know what the laws specify in the UK. However, the first thing I'd do is go after the agent. Promises were made that were not kept and now he wants to abandon you. It's not your fault the agent refunded the previous tenant's deposit without inspecting the property. Either he or the owner should clean the place, repair dangerous faults, and get rid of the vermin. If neither will take responsibility, contact your local health department. If nothing's done after that you're going to have to move, foot the bill, and sue for your money back plus damages.

Ok, here goes, Ive had had pain in my legs for the last two months, i gotta admit its driving me crazy cause for no apparent reason they can feel shaky and weak, and when i am keeping busy it seems to not bother me to much. back in the winter I was going aggressivly on the treadmill and pushing myself, I could have damaged something nerves or muscles, have been to the doctor, had several tests done, (stress test, barium swallow, bone density) everything came back ok, my question is, could this be due to my thinking to much about it, or could this be cause I suffer from psoriasis which is spreading down my thighs and buttocks, any sort of help or information would be greatly appreciated esciacially if someone has had or have similar symptons Thanx sorry for making it so long.

What does it mean when your dream is infested with lizards?

Last night I had a dream that there were a lot of lizards outside of the house. My boyfriend's parents, my boyfriend and I were all inside talking about the lizards and how we hoped they didn't start coming into the house. After a what is now a very fuzzy memory in the dream, lizards started appearing inside the house. There was one on the floor, on the walls, and ceiling. There were maybe four or five total. I woke up as everyone else in the dream was working on getting them out of the house with the fear of the lizards in the dream feeling too real. =/ Is this something to worry about or just a random dream?

How to grow hair faster?

I used to have really long hair, and recently I got it cut into like a bob. It's a little past my shoulders and I HATE IT. SO MUCH. Like I could sit and cry about it for hours. I never listen to top 40 radio of my own accord, but working downtown near trendy bars and clubs, I hear this song being played all the time. I can see how it's trying to have a good message, but I have a hard time believing that Jessie J and BOB don't care about money, yet are signed to major labels and have songs being played on pop radio. I should think a song with a message like "Price Tag" should be performed by somebody who either offers their music (or at least that single) for free or pay-what-you-want pricing or is a street performer. What are your thoughts? Nobody needs to get all defensive because you think I'm hating on the song or artist, I personally don't think it's that terrible compared to other stuff played on pop radio. Just a thought I had and I wanted read other perspectives.

How much dry food should I feed my Pixie-bob?

My Pixie-bob is 16lbs. My dad was taking care of her for a couple months and when I took her back she was much heavier than she was when he initially took her. I don't think he portioned how much food she ate, but when she's with me I feed her half a cup a day. She is a large cat and is built like a football player, so I am wondering if I'm not feeding her enough.

i had hermit crabs whose habitat recently was infested with gnats and mites. We took care of that problem, but I noticed right after that, the cats had fleas that started to appear. The flea problem is out of control, but leaves me to ponder if the mites caused the fleas somehow. please help
